Septentrion Revival is a resurrection of Wormwitch’s earliest works - compiled and remastered for cassette tape and featuring a new layout by vocalist Robin Harris. Side A is comprised of the long-sequestered death-grind demo, ‘THE LONG DEFEAT’, originally released in 2015. Side B contains the 2016 single “COFFIN BIRTH”, as well as a new live studio recording of “LORD OF CHAINS” from 2019’s ‘HEAVEN THAT DWELLS WITHIN’.

I happened upon Infernal Decadence on YouTube, via autoplay after Dödsrit (and you should check them out if not familiar with them). Thanks, YouTube! Fell in love with Spectral Wound after that. It’s everything I love about black metal: atmosphere, riffs, vocals. Along with Ad Noctem Funeriis, this band manages a fresh take on the 2nd wave without trying to reinvent the wheel, or just relying on mimicry and worship. Frosty Bear

Awesome band from my hood! All of their stuff is great, but I love the hardcore influence on this particular one- short blasts of riffs/songs that make you want to jump in the pit and sort shit out. Sick of Being Sober and Imposter Syndrome hit home because I feel that way sometimes. kenman74
